Back on track

The last weekend in January - 30-31 Jan, we had horrendous weather here - we were iced in on Saturday and discouraged from going out at all. I didn't give a gift on Saturday but am back on track. I'm on Day 11 this time. Still working at - but working may not be the right word - I'm having a ball. I've got friends doing this and one of them hasn't read the book yet.

Day Two

Yesterday (Day Two) was a day of 2 gifts, inadvertently. My conscious gift was leaving a card on the windshield of a good friend. Just a little something to acknowledge him, let him know much I appreciate his role in my life and honor our friendship. I used a card that I had lying around, and it seemed like a good way to give on the second day.

My gift this afternoon was to my co-workers. After leaving an interview, I brought them drinks from Sonic (hello, Happy Hour!). Cokes and tea. And smiles all around!

Days 11-15

It's been awhile since I posted due to snow storms and my upcoming trip home, but I've been doing the gifting everyday. Though it's sometimes hard to find the receiving energy from the universe, with all the problems we've had the last couple of days (school closings, water leaks, etc), I still do find something, however small, that qualifies as a gift.
