Update - Sorry to break your promise, Mom (Anne Meyer)!  When I delivered the books,  things seemed a little busy, so I just dropped off everything and gave them a stack of 29 Gifts cards with the website address.  They were very excited about all the books and one resident asked if she could have the carrying bag I brought them in.  An additional gift!

I'm getting mine ready to donate today. I need to run by a thrift store and/or dollar store to complete the 29 childrens books for our local civic center. The elementary school never responded, unfortunately. When I took my mom to vote at the center yesterday, I saw they had a lot of empty space on their bookshelves and decided they needed the books more.

Taking over 29 books and magazines to the retirement home my dad lived in, along with a vase of flowers (thanks for the idea, Deb!)

AND I'm taking pictures to post here.

My books are delivered to a a Catholic Preschool, each wiped off with a baby wipe, thanks, Glowworm. I am so sorry you couldn't get there today, maybe tomorrow?

Thanks, Deborah and Glowworm! Great idea about the antibacterial wipes, especially during flu season. I get a lot of my books from bookmooch.com and thrift stores. Thanks for the tip!
