29-Day Giving Challenge

As a Life Coach I find that a simple "I thought of you today," is a comforting message many people enjoy hearing. So, I invite you to e-mail, send a card or make a phone call to someone today and just say those simple words. You will put a smile on their face and yours. It could be for the whole day! How great is that!

This is a great simple suggestion, and I think it's so true! Thanks for putting it out there. I also find that when you're at a complete loss for words for someone who is suffering from a great loss or disappointment, just letting them know they are in your thoughts and heart is sometimes the best thing you can say.

Great giving suggestion! I've been calling people when I think of them lately. I leave a short message saying I was just thinking about you and wanted you to know I love you. It really helps brighten people's day!

Are you the Debra Doyle I know in northern California?

Hi Joan,

I saw your e-mail from sept of 2008, sorry that I never replied. I do live in northern California. Your name is familiar. Could you please help me remember where we met. I use to be in the insurance industry.

I have totally taken your advice today, and have sent cards and emails to several people just to let them know I love them and think of them. Thanks for the great suggestion!

These kinds of thoughts, and the sharing of them, go a long way toward changing both lives! The receiver and the giver!

Great gift idea!

Thank you. I hadn't thought about this being a "give", but you are so right. And today, just a few hours ago, actually, I sent an email to a friend saying just that. "I was thinking about you today. What's going on in your world?"

Lovely idea. It certainly brings a smile to my face when I receive one, and anytime is always a good time.
