29-Day Giving Challenge

I am so proud of all of us "givers" who have made a conscious decision to make this world a better place gift by gift. But let's not forget about ourselves in all this giving. I often find that even when I am making someone else smile, I may be filling my own head with negative thoughts. Today during Yoga, I put a lot of effort into telling myself I was strong and beautiful. It actually made a world of difference during my drive home. I didn't put myself down for not working hard enough or remind myself sternly to "watch what you eat today!" We need to remember to give ourselves positive encouragement and strength. Push out the put downs and listen to those thoughts, those little whispers from God that we often ignore or can't hear for the sounds of the day. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL & I ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOU!

What a positive suggestion and post. Go Mollie~!
Amen. Wonderful suggestion. I'm so glad you're practicing yoga :-)
"Push out the put downs" -- WOW! How perfect is that? Thank you Mollie - great post, great gift!
Thanks Mollie!!!
You are so beautiful! Thank you!
What a beautiful message to everyone!
I did the mirror work, it was an assignment years ago when I had not to much about myself I liked! It is profound work, if you can make yourself do it!
This is so true. We all are unique and beautiful creation of God. If we dont respect ourselves, we actually disrespect God. Respect and love yourself. Love and prayers - Sadabahar
This is so true...thanks for the reminder we need a constant reminder that we are all strong and beautiful and we are the inner light.

Mollie, positive reaffirmations to ourselves is a good start. When you get out of the shower if you shower in the morning, look at yourself in the mirror and say "Today is going to be a great day!" It has worked for me in the past, if only I have done it more often recently. I believe there is a book that everyone must read called "The Power Of Positive Affirmations". Such a good book to read. Thanks Mollie, learning our shortcomings is a good way to be human.

Thank you, Mollie!
