29-Day Giving Challenge

I would like to share the Giving Challenge with my friends at Kirtsy, a social media platform for sharing cool finds on the World Wide Web of interest to women! [It is kind of like Digg with a chick focus.]

Anyway, I am thinking if a few of us venture over there to do some clicking we can raise the link's popularity for it to get noticed by interested parties. You do not need to set up an account--just click away on the title "29-day Giving Challenge." As we do this the number in the box increase and we have lift off.

Here is the link:

Besides, this is a zippy way for me to give to this community by sharing a favorite of mine!

Thanks for the intro to kirtsy. Do you use it instead of Digg or other?
I don't use any of those to look for things, but do you delicious to help keep track of my own bookmarks. So much new media; so much to learn! Would love to hear your perspective.

Wako, yes I do use Kirsty --although I have a Digg account too. Kirsty feels less pressure filled and more creative and fun. I check it maybe a couple times a week and since I have an account I usually save web sites of interest [rather than read all of it then].

You know Digg was originally a science/business focus. For me Kirsty supplies the girl talk, if-I-had-girlfriends-who-also-loved-the-internet side of the web. On the other hand, like you i use delicious for major book marking, it is the easiest for me. I like Magnolia but it is a bit cumbersome for me. My favorite favorite is Yoono--because one can email links to it. But I find it works best [and maybe only] in Firefox which I don't always have access to.

Did I answer your question?

Yes and more! Thanks, Shawna. I'm always learning, and this community on Ning has allowed me to learn more about the social networking technology.
Hope you're having a great day.

Mbali, this is such a pertinent post for me right now. I'm struggling with forgiveness and resentments I hold against someone right now. I know, rationally, that it is hurting me far more than it will ever hurt her... I can't let go yet. I'm working…

I finished my (1st) challenge at the end of November. I'm just now reading 29 Gifts. I wanted to come back to the site today to see some of the other givers' gifts. I loved it when I thought I had forgotten to give and realized I had. Prosecco is a…
