Hello! I'm Gianna Jasinski and I'm new to the site! I'm 13 yrs. old and I love to swim and play the piano. I'm in the 8th gr. and working on a project called "29 day challenge for kids". In the program I'm in we are required to complete an Independant Investigation (II), which requires you to come up with an idea that meets some need. When I came across Cami's interview on NBC in the fall, I was truly inspired and thought I could do a 29 Day Challenge for Kids! I thought it was a great idea and began my journey! I contacted 3 schools, which totaled over 100 kids, and invited them to take the challenge. I made daily logs for them and asked them to complete some reflection ques. after the challenge. For the ones, who have finished the challenge, they have found a great impact. One girl says she is now more tolerant of people and more open-minded. Some kids claim it was a "wake-up call to other people and your surroundings". Others say "It's like picking people off their feet". They've found they're now focusing more on others and reaching out to people. I have finally finished my book and I hope many will read it!
