29-Day Giving Challenge

If any of you are looking for a good give idea, I would like to encourage you to send a card or letter to my mother - a woman who could use as much encouragement as she can get right now. Things have been rough for my mom for quite a while and a surprise card or letter I think would really brighten her spirit and help her out of her slump. Receiving something positive and encouraging in the mail for a change from people that really care would help her feel not so alone in this crazy world.

If you feel like this is something you could do, I appreciate it and I know it will put a smile on my mother's face. I'll be dropping a card in the mail first thing tomorrow and if you'd like to do the same, you can send your words of encouragement to:

Laura N.
P.O. Box 381
Hansen, ID 83334

Thank you all so much. If nothing else, please just send good thoughts, prayers, energy, karma, etc her way! Happy giving to you all!

I'll include my mum in my prayers and I will send her a post card, it might take a little time because I live in the UK, and we have been having problems with postal strikes. But I trust it will get to her at the right time. Love and Light and a Thousand Smiles, Ana

Thank you EVERYONE! It means a lot to me to see you all so responsive. I live in Illinois while my mom lives in Idaho. It's really hard to feel like I can be a good part of her support group when we are so far apart. These will surely lift her spirits and bring a smile to her face. Thank you thank you thank you!

Mbali, this is such a pertinent post for me right now. I'm struggling with forgiveness and resentments I hold against someone right now. I know, rationally, that it is hurting me far more than it will ever hurt her... I can't let go yet. I'm working…
