29-Day Giving Challenge

I found out today that my grandma is in congestive heart failure. I'm in shock right now. I thought she'd live to be over 100, but it appears God may have other plans for her. I would appreciate prayers from all of you. I'm overwhelmed with grief at the idea of losing my one remaining grandparent. There's a chapter in the book devoted to my grandparents. They played a major role in bringing me up and were a constant source of unconditional love for me. I can't keep typing now because I'm crying too hard, but please send prayers for my Grandma, Agatha Walker.

Hi Cami - I will add her name to my book of prayers and keep her in my thoughts. I've lost both of my grandmothers, and think of them every day -- both were powerful and amazing women who lived through some amazing challenges, bringing our family into focus.

Hugs to you.

Just a quick update for everyone. My grandma is feeling much better. She's recovering at home. I can't wait to see her next week and plan to cook up a few soups for her and freeze single size servings so she has some nourishment to help get her strength up. thanks so much for all your prayers.

Great news! Cami, your beautiful grandmother, your family and you are all in my prayers.

Agatha Walker, I pray for God's love to continue to strengthen you, comfort you and bring you peace and happiness.

You are a wonderful granddaughter to prepare nourishment for her recovery!

Great news Cami!
I think those single-serving soups you're making are going to be like little bits of love she can pull out and nourish herself with - body and soul.
Beautiful!

Hi Cami,
I just now read this about your grandmother. I am so sorry to hear this - I know how close you are to her. But I'm happy she's feeling better and I'm glad you're going to spend time with her. She sounds like a very special woman. I will keep you both in my prayers.

Cami, you and your whole family will remain my thoughts and prayers today. Remember to lean on the others, who love your grandmother. You are not alone in your grief. She is a noble woman, who has touched many lives.
