29-Day Giving Challenge

In my blog post for today, I talked about how this past year has been for me, and for my family. I discussed how this site has created a new line of thought for me, and how I can counter every "negative" thing that has happened with a positive side effect (Every action has an equal and opposite action!)

But since I posted it, I thought... I have managed to find that sense of balance with negative situations... but I also realized that I'm harboring some resentment about that one PERSON, and needed to find something good in her, something good that she did, in order to let go of my resentment.

I've been thinking on it a while now, and I remembered something that she used to do... we used to run a forum together, and she liked to make a post, every week or so, called "Five Good Things..." The idea was that everyone list 5 good things that had happened that week, or 5 good things in your life at the moment.

I need to remember those posts, and the fact that she was motivated to make all of us focus on the positive things we had going on in our lives. So, in my effort to find the silver lining in a friendship gone ugly, I'd like to start a 5 good things post here right now...

So, tell me, what are 5 good things going on in your life right now? Or, what are 5 good things that have happened to you in the last week?

Thank you, Deb. I hope to get my hip x-rayed tomorrow - it has been unbearably painful for about 2 1/2 months. Once I get the x-rays, the next step is probably PT.
