Glimmers of His Glory
There is moonlight to divide
the chilly night from light of day,
as a curtain falls over one blue sky,
by and by, it is a global display.
Absurd to some.....
time is our generous gift,
a chunk of eternity, from age
to age and a priceless jewel,
from a father, not a sage.
He gives to His child who does
not need to beg and continues
to engender humankind, each,
from at least one egg.
No stripe in any color
red and yellow, black and white
brown and tan, many flavors,
every nation, from one hand.
It is His story that cannot wait
to be understood. It is His
program working from the beginning
and in the end all is good.
He is a speaker with no audible voice
and yet some will hear His call.
He runs to and fro throughout all the earth
with a goal, to find the large and the small
who will learn the definition of creator.
And to seek His love, the kindling
of the heart, that will jump, march, stand
or be still at His command,
and know that He is God.
