Thank you Wendy Jo for your inspiration. I really appreciate the encouragement. I know I have a story to tell and have already thought of numerous ideas. I agree...self-publishing would be a viable way to go. My sister-in-law is writing a book (shh won't tell me what about) and I really admire her getting started. I would be interested in any feedback as to what you felt motivated you to begin. Thanks again.

Hello ! I'm new to this terrific group. I am a fellow writer and wanted to encourage inspiredreams to follow her dream to write a book. I kept getting the message that there was a book in me that needed to be written. I ignored and pushed it aside for years. Then one day it became clear I could ignore it no longer so right then and there I started writing the book. My book is my heart and soul on paper and is one of my proudest accomplishments. I self-published it last year and I want folks to know how far technology has come and that print-on-demand self-publishing is a very viable option. Everyone has a story to tell and today it is easier then ever to get your story out there into the world.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this group. I am also looking forward to being a part of and sharing in some of the discussion as well. I have been writing in journals since the late '90's. I would love to write a book someday but just need to take that initial step of "getting started on it." Perhaps this group will help me gain the confidence to do so.

I have used the written word since a child with asthma and now with MS I have returned to be able to express myself. This should be an interesting and fun adventure.
