Comment by Debbie Carr on May 1, 2012 at 8:29am Here's my story- I was visiting Halifax, Nova Scotia on the week-end and a store had a big water bottle that they were filling with change for the IWK Children's Hospital so I gave them all my coins in my purse. A lot of children from PEI have benefited from this hospital and I was glad I could help.
Here's my story for the day: I donated all the change in my coin purse to the Cancer Society. It felt good to be able to help. I benefited in return by "receiving" a lighter purse! Now who out there CAN'T relate to this particular benefit?!

Lets get some giving stories going. I cleaned the church today, sent some e-mails to friends to get them to join and cooked a special supper for a nephew, wife and son and, of course, my husband. Happy Spring to all.

Comment by Debbie Carr on April 22, 2012 at 12:30pm Looks like we need to get some Canadians on board. We like to give so it would be nice to see more members here.

Comment by peanut on December 12, 2011 at 6:29am This looks like a slow board. What's everyone been up to recently?
Comment by peanut on December 12, 2011 at 6:28am Never mind Susan! I think I figured it out. :) Hello everyone. I'm Jean from SK. I've been spearheading a group for the church to raise funds for missions. We raised over $1200 this year. I've since shut it down and am now moving onto other areas of giving. A friend and I decided to sell things outside the church instead. I'll be using the profit for giving...if my hubby doesn't complain too loudly. ;)
