Welcome to the Abundance Circle

The Emerge Healing Abundance Circle is a group of women in San Francisco who have come together to co-create a resonant field of Abundance in their lives and communities.

We circle with the intention of growing our awareness of the Abundance that already exists in our world.

We circle with the intention to amplify the Abundance in not only our own lives, but in the lives of those around us, our communities, and our planet!

We circle to co-create opportunities, awareness and celebration of living in true Abundance; mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.

Knowing that what we give, we receive, begin by asking yourself, "What intentions will you set around giving? How will these intentions and their subsequent manifestations benefit not only you but the world around you? How are your intentions influenced and empowered by your giving practice?"

Come share in our field of intentions online! Or start a face to face meetup group of your own!

The Part of the Brain that Experiences Giving as Receiving

Recently, whenever I think about the energy of giving I am reminded of a scene I saw in the movie The Moses Code. Author/ Psychologist Harville Hendrix talks about how there is a part of the human brain, in the limbic system, that is not time or object oriented. So, this part cannot tell the difference between itself and others and has no sense of past, present, or future. This part of our brain truly receives whatever we are giving - it doesn’t know whether it’s going out or coming in. So whatever we are giving, we are in fact receiving.

However, realize that this part of the brain doesn't discriminate between positive and negative things. If you are complimenting someone, your brain receives it as self-praise, but if you are complaining about someone, your brain takes it as self-criticism. Likewise, when we give something, a gift, some of our time, love, attention, our brain experiences it as if we are receiving whatever we give.

What a powerful way to use the energy of 29 Gifts; to not only give to others but to give to yourself as well!
