Hi all .. great to see an Aussie group here. :-) I'm from the leafy suburb of Ferntree Gully in Melbourne. I've been registered with the site for a few months, but haven't visited here much - time runs away from me! But though I've not been active here, and haven't 'formally' been doing the Challenge, it's helping me keep in mind the need to give something of myself to others every day. Great concept! :-) I plan to be a bit better at being involved here in 2009 if I can!

If you don't want to get email from this group, make sure you click the "STOP FOLLOWING" link. Sometimes people join groups and then start getting a lot of email from the group so they leave the group rather than just turn email off.

Hi,

I am from the Byron Bay area, this week still getting used to daylight saving and the changes in my body. But as far as giving is concerned I have been enjoying it immensely.... sometimes it is just the little things that make such a difference - making dessert for the family next door or buying someone a cool drink.

Love
Liana

Hi fellow Aussie givers! I'm in my second week of giving, but am REALLY behind in my blogging (my daughter had a health problem, then my baby and i spent 3 days in hospital and then 4 days at the seaside convalescing) but I hope to be back "onboard" tomorrow! Anyone living anywhere near Canberra out there? PS - I am not a politician! (LOL!)

Hello Aussie Givers!! Wondering if any Brisbane-ites would be keen to catch up sometime - probably on a Sunday? But actually my gift to you will be that I will make myself available whatever day suits you. Cheers, Sioban

Congrats on the new baby! Donating to those who need it is always a wonderful gift. Kudos for calling your father's mother. Most of the time, just knowing someone cares is the best comfort for greiving. Happy Friday to you!
