I came across this awesome give by Kari Miller She decided to give Artsy Parties at her house. She host a party each month for artsy people to use up her extra supplies to create stuff. FREE! I love this idea!

I gave "50 reasons I love and respect......" little booklets last year to all my female relatives. I just altered some little books (you know the kind that is often given as a gift---"the Little Book of Wine" or something) and I put my reasons over the pages. They were very popular!
How about a massage to your partner?
Or a footrub to an older relative?
If anyone lives alone---really remember to TOUCH them as often as possible when you see them, my sister is happy now but she misses the everyday touch that her husband and children gave.
I just love the Artsy parties idea. (thanks Stacey and Kari)
How about recycling art books to your art friends?
Babysitting ?
This year I gave my stepchildren an update letter on all the wonderful things that there father had done for all sorts of people since they moved out---just in case they forget how great he is.
Is any one ill in hospital? When my brother was very ill , we emailed and rang everyone we knew and asked them to do the same for everyone they knew to write a postcard wishing him well. Dozens and dozens arrived and I think it kept him going a while longer---it CERTAINLY made him happy. He got his wife to make a book of them!
I'll keep thinking...

Mbali, this is such a pertinent post for me right now. I'm struggling with forgiveness and resentments I hold against someone right now. I know, rationally, that it is hurting me far more than it will ever hurt her... I can't let go yet. I'm working…

Yeah, I hear you, sister. I'm feeling similarly, in case you have not read my latest post. Cry it out and laugh it out. Stay busy and stay focused on giving. We'll get through this! ;-)

Another gray frigid day, no visible and warming outer sun on this Winter Solstice day, and that encouraged me to reach down deep where my Inner Sun is always shining. Today was my last day of picking up last-minute items to include in holiday packag…

I finished my (1st) challenge at the end of November. I'm just now reading 29 Gifts. I wanted to come back to the site today to see some of the other givers' gifts. I loved it when I thought I had forgotten to give and realized I had. Prosecco is a…
