29-Day Giving Challenge

Rather than leaving your suggestions as comments on the comment wall for this group, information is more accessible if you post your ideas as discussion strings. Other members can comment on discussion strings or link to them if you use a discussion post instead of a wall comment.

HOW TO start a discussion in this group:
look for the green plus sign with red the "START DISCUSSION" link, which is right at the bottom of the list of topics on the main group page. Click that link. Then you can type a message about the idea you want to share (include a title) and hit the ADD DISCUSSION button. That's it. You're done!

HOW TO share a giving idea with our ENTIRE COMMUNITY:
If you have an idea you want to share with all 3200+ people in our community, rather than just this group, please don't hesitate to post a discussion string in the Giving Suggestion section of our Main Forum by following the exact same steps there.

I didn't watch the lastest video. I would also imagine that they would want the avalanche of mail to stop. Isn't it amazing what a group of kind caring people can do to boost a kid when he is so sick.

After finishing the fabvulous book, "The Go-Giver" I strove today to implement the first "law", The Law of Value. This law says, " Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than what you take in payment." I had to work today...

Great gift! I'm sure your son really appreciates the time you spent with him, even more than the food.

This is an amazing way to start your challenge! I'm sure it made her day. Many hostess' and greeters don't get the credit they deserve. My 9-yr old daughter pointed this out to me just last week. She made a point to approach the greeter at our loc...

A quiet Sunday with only a trip to Whole Foods as activity. Nice. My gift to myself was the time to read the whole New York Times this morning- even the magazine. I hung around the house in my jammies reading and resting until noon. My DH made me ...

The family has asked that people STOP sending cards at this point. They celebrated Christmas with Noah on the 8th of November. They never expected the overwhelming amount of cards. They are extremely thankful, but they can't handle them anymore. N...

I love this idea! What a wonderful give. I am going to use this for christmas presents this year. I wanted to be able to give gifts with meaning instead of something that will sit on a shelf or get lost in a drawer. Thank you so much. Bless you, Patt

Today my gift was that I took my son and his girlfriend out for lunch and then took Matt to Costco to load up on food for his apartment. I was going shopping and thought he could use some food too. It was great to spend time with him.
