Hey Huskers!! I'm a small town Nebraska girl born and raised in Sterling, lived in Lincoln for ten years so I truly consider Lincoln my home too. I'm in Texas now but still hold the Cornhusker State near and dear. You guys make me homesick:(

The giving challenge gives you something to look forward to everyday. It was easy too! I loved getting "thank you" text messages when I would surprise someone with a tiny gift in the mail. That was my favorite part.

I have lived in Lincoln just over a year, but have lived in Nebraska most of my life. I will forward this to some friends and co-workers to see if I can encourage them to join. It would be great to have a strong presence in Lincoln or just Nebraska in general! Go Big Red- despite this weekends game:(.

I'm originally from Lincoln, too. I was born in Seward but I spent a good part of my childhood in Lincoln and then returned there in my teens and again in adulthood before making the final move to California. I love Lincoln. People are so friendly and look you in the eye, saying hello as they pass you by. Is it still that way or have I romanticized it? I have good memories. I enjoyed the easy pace of life there. If it only wasn't for those brutal winters....

I'm originally from Nebraska and lived in Lincoln for five years before moving to California so I think it's cool for me to join this group. I'm still a Nebraska farm girl at heart :-)
