I love your comment about "Live simply so others can simply live." I guess a lot of time we don't realize that our expectation effect other and their perspective. I guess we should all try to 'live simply' so we could make the lives of people around us more simple.

I also love the quote, "May peace be like pebbles in a dancing pond of rain" and since Jacinda said she didn't know where she got it from, so i took the liberty of Google it (I hope you don't mind and sorry if you did - i really don't mean anything) i think it is from a Peace Poem Contest for the United Nation and this poem is from Turquoise Trail Elementary School, Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. and it said something like this, "May peace be scattered like pebbles in a dancing pond of rain."

I attach the link below to the contest in which this poem was a part of...there are a lot of others quotes there, so i hope you guys will enjoy.

Thanks Mary and Sparkie :) I found it somewhere...can't remember now where? But I loved it so much when I saw it too! Smiles, Jacinda

Welcome, Mary and Jacinda! The little kitty cat can use some friends in this group as well as "Clutter Busters."

We all have our rights to life as well as the things needed to go with it-such as food, education, and healthcare. Also, I'd like us all to learn to live peacefully.

Everyone needs these things more than I need a "nest" full of possessions. I really like the saying "Live simply so others can simply live."

Mine is a story of resistance. I read Cami’s story in Yoga Journal and felt drawn to it, yet dragged my feet to commit. I came up with dozens of reasons why I shouldn’t do it; thanksgiving, my son’s b-day, the upcoming Christmas holidays, starting u…

Last night was day 29 for me. It has been cold (20s-30s) and dry during the day. After work I went to the store and bought a peach cobbler to throw in the oven and made my family a hot dinner...and surprised them with a bubbly hot cobbler when dinne…
