yikes! I've been MIA for quite a while! Hope everyone had a nice little holiday and that things are calming down a bit for a while. Yesterday I received a thank you card from one set of Iraq troops that I sent things in the mail to. Trying to think of a nice holiday present to send their way next!

Hi all,
My father, who has Stage 5 Alzheimer's, was hospitalized yesterday and is in intensive care. Tomorrow, I'm giving by participating in the 2009 Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®, an event that raises funds and awareness to fight this devastating disease. If you are in need of a giving idea for today or tomorrow, I would love the support in honor of my father!

Since 1989, walkers and donors have raised $230 million for Alzheimer care, support and research. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research, and funds I raise will go directly toward supporting their efforts. I hope to raise at least $200 to help support this cause. Even $5 can help! You can donate by clicking the link below. Thank you in advance for your support. Together, we can make a difference!

Love & Blessings!

Hi Sue, I figured that we can always ask for something for a dear friend or family member that we would enjoy others helping us give. Genuine it can surely be for yourself or for anyone!

What can you do for me today?
Actually, many of my big wishes tend to be for other people, the ones I really love and would love to see receiving ... so I can post something I'd like to receive for them? Or are we sort of sticking to what we want for ourselves?
