Yesterday I received a thank you card from one set of Iraq troops that I sent things in the mail to. Trying to think of a nice holiday present to send their way next!

My father, who has Stage 5 Alzheimer's, was hospitalized yesterday and is in intensive care. Tomorrow, I'm giving by participating in the 2009 Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk®, an event that raises funds and awareness to fight this devastating disease. Actually, many of my big wishes tend to be for other people, the ones I really love and would love to see receiving ... so I can post something I'd like to receive for them? Or are we sort of sticking to what we want for ourselves?
