- I live in Alberton, Gauteng, South Africa as a single parent to a special needs son. We have survived alone together for 3 and a half years. I do satellite dish and aerial instalations for a living and dabble in website design in my spare time, proving you are never too old to learn :)

About Time I Posted Again!
This week my sisters kept me busy again. I had to get them set-up on Skype. At least now I have learnt that Skype can run on a Pentium 1 and Windows 98 :) That was my giving for the week At least this week I have made someone happy. Indirectly it is contributing to "Opperation Teddy Bear Care"

My Second Post. Still hopefull it won't be my last.
This is something I find difficult, writing about my doings and thoughts. But here goes again.
I have been busy trying to get my other website up and going. That is as good an excuse as any for not blogging. I am good at making excuses, I have had plenty of practice in my younger days :) I have been kept up to date by Maureen as to the happenings on Operation Teddy Bear care. We talk on the phone on a daily basis.
Last week was a good week for me. My youngest son was given 3 prizes at school -… Continue

This is my first post, hopefully not my last.
After being “Conned” by my sisters Colleen and Maureen I signed up. But that was just a ploy to get me involved with “Operation Teddy Bear Care.”
The problem seems to have been the shipping costs to South Africa. After discussing this with my 2 sisters we decided to set up a webpage on my website., This solves the shipping problem and makes it possible for anyone in the world to donate.

I tried to donate again last night to the penny Jar.
I forgot my password, and when I tried to get in, it asked me to identify a secret, which I did, but then told me I answered wrong. I will try again tonight, but if it still thinks I don't know my own secret, I don't know what to do!
