One of my good friends from my first year of college lost her Mother to ALS when she was just 16 years old. She has 2 other sisters as well. It was awful seeing the pain that it left her with. If any one is able to donate anything, 50 cents, whate...

Why I'm choosing to give:
I basically believe you need to give things in life, to get things in life, & it's something I haven't been practicing very well lately.
What I'd most like to receive:
Anything that brings others & myself happiness. (Money would be helpful too! hehe)
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
A friend on myspace
About me:
Mom of a 2 year-old girl & a 4 month old girl. Husband is in the Army & left for his 2nd deployment to Iraq on Mother's Day, came home for the birth of our 2nd daughter (Thank you God!) & left 12 days after.
I'm a stay at home Mom, & not doing so well at it! :-/
But I'm sure trying!

I gave my neighbors daughter part of her bday present, a Dora swimsuit. I decided to give it to her early because, well, her party isn't until the 23rd & by then Summer is practically over. Also gave them a baby present. (She's having a c-section on Aug. 12)

I gave my Mom, Grandma & Mother-In-Law a ton of pictures from Natalie & Leila's lil' photo shoot. I'd post just how much that cost me but, we'll just leave it at, EXPENSIVE!!! But totally worth it.
(Hey, they're only little once!)

The only thing I could come up with is that I sent my husbands friend a message on myspace wishing him a Happy Birthday.
It's been so long that I really can't remember WHAT all I gave, if anything, back in July.… Continue

Today I gave my 2 neighbors cupcakes from Natalies' Strawberry Shortcake cupcake cake.
Man that is a mouthfull to say!

My brand new neighbors (house was just recently built) didn't come over but had dropped off a present a week or so before the party, so I brought over 3 cupcakes for them & their 2 year old. She is also pregnant, going to have a c-section on the 12th & her husband just got out of the Q-course, which is a course you have to make it through to become Special Forces, which… Continue

Today I gave Natalie a birthday party!! Her 2nd bday party!
& I gave 2 of my cousins (& their 3 kids) a free place to stay, & free beer, & free food. Well, all the things you'd expect at a party!
But, it was the least I could do for them since they drove up 5 1/2 hours & the other about 4 hours to come to the party. Meant a lot to me. I live out in the middle of nowhere, have very few friends here (only 1 showed up for the party) & the husband is gone so, I get kinda lone… Continue

I gave my daughters keepsakes, in a way today. - - - I got their pictures taken, as much as they both hated it, & as much stress as it caused me!
Natalie turned 2 today, & Leila is exactly 2 weeks.
& like I said, neither of them enjoyed it, I know they will once they are older & especially if they have children of their own.
