- Why I'm choosing to give:
- I've always known we are all connected and I want to experience that connection in a bigger way.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- The only thing I want is to be able to adopt our one and a half year old foster daughter who we have had in our home since she was one day old. We are the only family she knows and I can't imagine life without her.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- In a book group studying "The Artist's Way"
- About me:
- I am a stay-at-home mom and artist. I sometimes have a difficult time balancing being a mom and wife, with my art. I have 5 wonderful grown children from a previous marriage - a daughter and 4 sons. I remarried and have a 7 year old son and a 1 1/2 year old foster daughter at this time. I am grateful to have a wonderful supportive husband who always encourages me to do more art. When I do get the chance to play in my studio, I consider myself mostly a pastel artist. I love the brilliant color and instant results that pastels allow.

I don't know if anyone will read this, but thank you to all who welcomed me to the 29-day giving challenge. I began a week ago, and I am happy to report that I have not faltered in giving something (or things) each and every day so far. I am keeping a personal journal to document my gifts and things that happen along the way.
