Recently I bought some little giraffe items for a friend because I know she loves giraffes.  They sat on my desk and didn't get to her before we went out of town for some time...on the trip I discovered she is ill again.  After we returned I got the items to her...just left them on her doorstep...along with the book 29 Gifts.  I pray for her often and know she will make it through this challenge, but I hope I can be more proactive in helping…

The more we appreciate things, the more we are blessed.  It really is easy to give something everyday~some days it continues all day long!  Today I will take my daughter shopping at an upscale mall (one we rarely frequent) as a sort of  gift...I just sent a copy of a photo of my precious nephew who went to God this past spring.  I was looking at an old album and there was a photo of him at about 4 yrs. old; I sent it to my sister and her oldest son.  The nephew who passed was 36, so young.…

They gave me a late birthday party last night, it was wonderful.  Dinner out with balloons, cake, flowers, everything!  I brought them cocktail napkins and "confetti" to spread on the table~Jelly Bellies that we ate as we waited for our food.  So many nice presents but the best was their presence~one had just come back from a big trip, another was leaving the next day for a big trip, everyone has kids/family but they made time for me.  I am…

Money, flowers, food...today we had the neighbors over for brunch:  quiche Lorraine, homemade rolls, fruit plus green salad and coffee cake made by my daughter, my bright light :) .  It was the first time we'd had these neighbors over, and we all enjoyed ourselves.

I had opportunities to give  money such as a donation, or a secret meter feeder, etc. this past week.  Coffee one day, and of course more flowers!  I had "forced" many branches of forsythia inside, and so wanted to give out…
