Gift day 24 is a ltitle tooth box for a tooth of my grandson who lost its tooth due to a very bad fall against the corner of a wooden stoorage box. It happened months ago, two teeth were involved. One had totally disappeared in the upper jaw and the other was loose in his mouth. At first nobody wanted the tooth, bad memory I guess, but now the other tooth has emerged miraculously I asked the mother if she perhaps wanted to have it now. When I started, 29 days ago,my children couldn't understand my drive to commit myself to this whole challenge, because they think of me as a giving type of person. That's true. But I used the challenge to get myself together, to pick up some of the peaces that were still laying around somewhere. To see if I could find my discipline again, the discipline I need so very hard to begin with my final gift.

Yesterday, sunday, it rained the whole day. Time to read! Once a month I get a free magazine in the mailbox. It's top-full all kinds of nice articles about holidays, gardening, gadgets, ideas for books, plays etc. and beautiful pictures. I sent the editoriol office a mail to thank them for their sunny magazine on a rainy day. They already answered me, they were very pleased.

My two grandsons are both afraid of the buzzing insects. And in springtime and summer they are everywhere. Most of them are harmless, but the stings of some insects like bees are very painful or very annoying like the stinga of mosquito's. They give you the itch.
With this gift I catch two birds with one stone.(I hope I use the right expressionI. In Dutch we say: to hit two flies with one clap, lol) I bought bracelets of silicone rubber. They spread for about 48 hours a citronella oil… Continue

My gift for today was a letter to condole my daughter's mother in law with the dead of her mother. I think a handwritten letter is much more personal than a card but more difficult, especially when you hardly knew the deseased person. But everybody has (had) a mother and wether you had a good relationship with your mother or not, either way she learned you a lot and you can be grateful for that.
