Pizza and football

My son had a football game today,we lost, again. My little guy plays with all of his heart, but,he still gets really upset when we lose, which is often. I felt so bad for him. I mean,it's hard to know what to say,so I say nothing at all. He was really quite on the way home. He finally told me that he thought pizza might make him feel better. So,pizza it was.It sure did make dinner easy on me and there wasn't much mess to clean up after.I love football and pizza.

A new beginning

Today will be the start of a new beginning for me. Today was the general conference for my church and I have decided a great place for me to start again.(on this challenge as well as in my life) I have decided to start with things that really need my attention. I plan to read my scriptures more, get this house in order and watch what I say. I have been having lots of problems with that last one lately. It pops in my head and it comes out my mouth. I have hurt lots of people along the way with wor… Continue

A prayer for a very poor little boy

My son has decided to join the football team. I am terrified but excited. I am afraid he will get hurt but I am happy that he is a part of something. I have eaten more than my fair share of green hotdogs, cheered for him even when he was running the wrong way and watched in amazement as he has interacted with these boys. He has a liitle trouble with the tackling part not because he can't do it,he just doesn't want to hurt anyone. He has a huge heart. I am so proud.
Lately I have been noticing tha… Continue

Hello- I thought this was nice for everyone regardless of religion or beliefs. Have a peaceful, beautiful day of the spirit.

A holiday affirmation:

I embrace the holiday season with joy and an open heart. I look at this time of year through the eyes of a child full of excitement. I gift others with kindness and a sincere smile. I feel at peace and view my life as the miracle that it is.
