- Why I'm choosing to give:
- You stated it best...if you want the world to change, you have to change the world around you. I'm 31 years old and I've been focused so much on the things I don't have. I'm divorced (but dating), I don't own a house or even my car and I make way less than I want to. However, I need to remember and focus on the amazing things I do have. Wonderful friends and family, the ability to support myself, and I know I'm a good friend and good person too. It's easy to get caught up on the negative things and I think the 29 days of giving will remind me to focus on the positive!
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I'm not concerned with receiving materialistics things. Just knowing that someone has been thinking about me and would be willing to spend more time in person or on the phone would be a gift. We're so busy nowadays, that time is truly a gift too.

- About me:
- I'm 31, work in sales for a plastic company, play volleyball 3 nights a week and have amazing friends. Trying to focus on these great things rather than comparing myself to other friends or family that are owning a house, have kids and are planning their retirements already!
