Family Gives...........
My gives have been a week's worth of gives to my twelve-year old daughter........hot tea, soup, meds.......she's been home sick with a bad cold.........
Other gives included preparing a nice dinner for the family Fri. nite inviting my husband (as we are separated).....I made baked salmon, a roasted medley of fresh farmstand veggies from a couple local farmer's markets, a side of bowtie pasta and crescent rolls ....'tho my daughter didn't have much of an appetite and my son is quite picky their… Continue

Try Extra Hard........
I am going to try extra hard today to avoid any conflict with my husband of 20 years to which I am separated now for two for all our sakes especially my kids. We are attending a Cubs/Sox game in Chicago with our two kids now 12 and 18. Since it was the beginning of school we figured they hopefully wouldn't miss too much as it was a rescheduled game. UNPLANNED GIVE.....
I must confess I haven't been the best at planning gives lately but I had an opportunity to help this morning. With a change in plans as to who was driving my son to his dad's, my son and I came across a large leashed dog crossing a busy street. My son was driving.
