Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:
Whether we're aware of it or not, we are always giving. We are constantly offering the qualities of who we are in every moment. I want to become eminently more conscious of my giving -- to become a more "mindful" giver. To observe what I am giving in the moment, and to choose to offer gifts of acceptance, presence, lovingkindness, thoughtfulness, generosity, sensitivity and awareness; gifts of strength, faith, knowledge, wisdom and tenderness; gifts of playfulness, appreciation, gratitude and forgiveness. Always, always, to offer my forgiveness.
What I'd most like to receive:
To know in every cell and atom of my being what it feels like to be totally in love and at peace and to rest completely in that knowingness.

About me:
I am a musician, singer, performing and recording artist living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I play crystal singing bowls -- exquisitely beautiful, angelic instruments -- and travel with them around the world creating and sharing healing music. Music has always been a guiding force and passion in my life. I love the ecstatic feeling of sound vibrating through every part of my body. I love the feeling of light pouring through when I am in the zone and can get out of the way to make room for the grace. There is nothing like this in the world. I feel totally blessed to be surrounded by incredibly creative and inspiring friends and colleagues, and I love that I am able to share what I do with so many people around the world. It is my intention that the beautiful music we create together is a gift of healing and loving remembrance for us all.

Opening to Love - Connecting to the Love You Are

This week, I’ve uploaded the complete song “Opening To Love” from my new CD, “Beloved” to my MySpace and Facebook Fan Pages. In this post, I want to share with you some of my experiences while writing and recording this song and a very beautiful meditation practice that I’ve been doing to the music.

The Inspiration

The words for “Opening To Love” were inspired by… Continue

My Gift to All for This Beautiful Day

I wanted to share a beautiful gift with all of you. Earlier this year, photographer Joanne Chilton created a beautiful video called "Inner Landscapes" using imagery of 5 different artists, set to the music of my song "When All Is Forgiven". I finally got to see the video, and when I did, I cried. It is so healing, so tender and gentle. I immediately wro… Continue

the gift of letting go

Yesterday, I said goodbye to my old, dear and beloved dog, Zee. He was my companion for 17 years and he had become blind and very frail, with dementia and in the last few weeks, he could hardly walk. He travelled with me everywhere and was my dearest and best friend. Always loving me, no matter what. Dogs do that. He was always smiling and wiggling, and when his tail wagged, it went in circles. He poured comfort into me day after day and truly was a light in my life in the darkest of times, a co… Continue

Today I decided I would surprise my son when he got home from school with a fresh tray of rice krispie treats instead of the store bought ones. He told me that I was the best mom, and he is 17 so that is a treat for me.
