Hello, this is my sharing.I must say I have it easier than some, because I've a computer, manual wheelchair, a machine keeps my life 'alive'.(dialysis).There are days I feel I have not made head way and peoples have all but forgot lives with profound disabilities. As a person with lesser economics, lesser of daily connects, who can i really count on? If you, yours becomes disabled, will you be ready, your loved ones? Are we really islands or can we really count on those around us?I not only have to think about this, but live it daily.Would love peoples on internet to take my posting share it further. Its a place where we may empower each other, let peoples know no matter what our challenges in life,we have NOT given up, no matter who we are, color, creed, faith, any nationality, sex, age, etc.we are decidedly here to join together to make a stable, sound, positive caring society. Can't think of a better way of sharing empowerment, than the most frail of society leading the way,as we have pledged for our event,'in the name of peace' That is what we will be doing and we invite everyone who is free to join with us. Please JOIN:May 31, 2009-San Francisco,CA-Presidio-Crissy Field-Golden Gate Promenade- 8am.Lives with-without disabilities, stepping forward, to walk and roll together, in a profound statement, to stop maiming, disabling, abuse, torture, genocide of our brothers and sisters globally.Join us on a barrier free path along the shores of San Francisco Bay, with a beautiful view of our Golden Gate Bridge. As the most frail of human beings on the globe, all we have to share is our pledged common decency of faith, freedom, our rights, dignity, respect of one another, the importance of doing no harm to another. We encourage all who believe in our 'abilities' join us,1 day,1 moment in time in to take time, the energy, walk together on our 1st yearly walk and roll for global peace. 415.665.1178 - mhonainternational@gmail.com. What will you do?

Azyh,
A great big "Hey!" from Woodstock, Ga, USA! I am so happy we have so many givers from all over the world! Thanks for joining at such an exciting time! I am on the 22nd day in my 8th round of 29 days! I hope you have the wonderful experience here that I have!
Let me know if you need any help!
We did a "give" in Atlanta this past summer and gave away 100 roses on a sidewalk, it was 9 members from the metro ATL area, we started a "local" group, and you can start or join one too!
Make friends, read blogs, write blogs and leave other members comments! Post pics and videos, join inner groups and GIVE! You can give smiles, give hugs, give time, give stuff, give love, give kindness, coffee, lunch, spare change, breaks in traffic, parking spaces, compliments, flowers, whatever your heart leads you to! You just write on here nightly or daily what you gave and see how it will change you in 29 days! Have fun and watch for miracles to happen in your life when you do 29 gives and blogs in 29 days! Hope to see you around in the site!

Gave my life to this vision

Day 29, Gave to my friend at work.

Feels like a full circle now. There are three of us that sit in our little section at work. Turned out that I one was my day one and the other my day 29. Beginning and ending with with two people I work close with.

The wonderful lady that is my day 29 was a gift from the moment I first met her. I trained her and as time has gone on she has become full time and is our main finance person. During that time we have had so many changes and new systems and manager… Continue

Gave no change

Day 28! I can't believe it was my second last day.

I still had three wrapped tea lites to give away. I put two in my bag this morning and gave one to the musician playing for change near the station. I normally do give him some change, today I gave him a pink box. no idea what he thought about that :)

At work a friend of mine suggested someone that would appreciate a nice surprise, so I gave the other pink box to a lovely lady that works with our volunteers. I hope I was able to lift her mood… Continue

Gave anonymously

Day 26, Sent a gift off in the mail today that was like a valentine from the world.

I think this was a cool give. I had a brief converstaion with someone online and what I learned from that helped me a great deal about understanding myself and supporting myself. I had already planed to give this and it so happened to link in with the this challenge. I know it is kinda late I was waiting on an order. I also know that what ever the reason it will be received in perfect timing.

Received a little… Continue
