I have recently been going through my books, CDs, and DVDs to see what I can post for swapping.  I also sold some of my credits (I just have way too many).  While perusing the discussion boards, I saw a request to buy credits, but when I contacted the poster, he said he was strapped for cash at the moment and couldn't buy any.  I decided to just send him a free credit.  I thought he could use it more than I could.  

I was perusing the discussion forums on my favorite book swapping site when I noticed they had a category for Random Acts of Kindness.  There was a post form a woman who wanted CDs, and since I have too many anyway, I picked out a couple to send her.  

I belong to several swapping sites (books, CDs, and DVDs) and last week I decided it was time to post more items online and share my bounty with other members.  In a matter of days, I had six requests!  I just now packaged up all the books and DVDs and printed the mailing labels and will mail the packages tomorrow.  Now other people can enjoy them.  

Today I took the two neighbor girls to our local presidential museum.  They had some special activities geared towards kids, including actors portraying former presidents.  The older child seemed to enjoy it a bit more since she had been learning about presidents in school, but I think the younger one was happy to be there also, despite being a bit bored.  They did both enjoy going out to lunch afterward.
