- Why I'm choosing to give:
- To give back to the world on a daily bases is something we all strive for, but forget to do. So the "challenge" for me, is to be more aware and present in life, and that is a gift to humanity as well as to myself.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- This is hard to answer......I guess this is a challenge as well. I would like to receive love, laughter, friendship...an ability to live life the way I was meant to live it, with loads of love to give to everyone.
- How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
- I was given the book by my mother in law, and read it within a weeks time! She hasn't even read it yet, she recieved it as a gift and knew I would like reading it. I can't wait to give it back to her, so she can start reading it.
- About me:
- I am a 31 year old wife and mother to two girls. My husband is in the Navy. My oldest daughter is 11 years old, and my youngest is 3. We live in Michigan, and currently I am a stay at home mom. I have always been interested in being a better me, I really enjoy reading "self help" books. I like to feel inspired! I love to read, cook, do yoga, pilates and weight training and last, but certainly not least, I most enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I love the water, was fortunate enough to have lived in California on the coast for 5 years, and feel like I am a California girl at heart. But family is more important than your zip code, and my family is in Michigan, so that is where we choose to live.
