Day 10 - A Tip and My son is learning to give

Today I doubled my tip to my hair colorist. I have been seeing her for 27 years. Oh my!

Also, my son told me that he was studying pollution in science today and his teacher told them to pick up 3 pieces of litter tonight - for extra credit. He walks home from school and he decided to pick up all the litter he could carry on his 1 mile walk. He had about 14 cans, bottles and cups. He called me at work when he got home. Day 8 - A few small gives

At first nothing comes to my mind where I gave consciously! Hmmmm, but let's see... I had coffee with a friend today. I spend quite a bit of time telling her about 28 gifts and all the inspiring stories. I hope she joins us! We are giving out candy tonight but have only had about 15 little goblins. Probably because it is only 40 degrees here.

Day 7 - Unplanned gives

I gave $1.00 today at Walmart for Juvenile Diabetes.
A friend and I visited a pregnant friend who is on bed rest and we brought her a Pumpkin Blizzard. She spends alot of time alone and she seemed really happy to see us. Also, her husband was glad we were there because he could go at a neighbors party.

Day 6 - Goblin greeting and Opening the door

I sent a Halloween card today with $3 in it to a boy that our family mentors. We have known him for 4 years. We have taught him things like manners, please and thank you's, helping people, volunteering and forgiving.
Also, I went to McDonalds today and there was a grandma standing just inside the door. She was carrying her grandaughter, their food, drinks and an open umbrella above her head. She was standing by the door but could not open it. A man went in before me and walked right past her. I… Continue

Cathy thanks for your welcome :-) I found the Q Kindness Cafe via the website of Daryn Kagan a former CNN reporter who now has her own site with inspiring videos about the good stuff that happens in our world :-) I added them to my Facebook page and then found the 29gifts site..it's wonderful how it all comes together! I would love to visit the cafe at some point..but I think I will plan a visit in the warmer weather LOL I'll let you know when :-) I totally agree with you about how good it feels to give and to encourage others to do the same...even better when like minded folks can support each other ♥ Have a wonderful day and I am glad to have found a new friend..many blessings to you!
