Dear friends & family,
I hope the last year has been mostly full of calm & joy for you all. 2009 was busy & eventful with only a touch of sorrow, but mostly full of lessons in balance & living in the moment.

The Last Bit of Receiving
Oct. 22nd: I was grateful for an understanding company, who permitted me to take off an hour early, so I could get the Visitation for Peter early & stay the whole time. In addition to that convenience, St. Henry's Catholic Church had magnificently clear directions on their website.

Cocktails & Nails
Oct. 20th: My boss & our coordinator was nice enough to let me leave a whole hour early yesterday. When I got home, Chelsea picked me up & off we sped to Magnolia Spa for a purely girly evening, "Cocktails & Nails". Emily met us there and the three of us were able to indulge in drinks and petit pedicures all before 7 p.m. It was lovely. Emily has good ideas!

Oct. 19th: I began thinking about gratitudes before I began this project. For e.g., did you know that there is gelatin in my face soap, Noxema? Gelatin is an excellent source of calcium & good for your skin, but as someone who won't eat it, I feel humble for the animals, who gave up their lives to clean my skin, as well as grateful to the companies, who believe in not wasting an animal's resources by disposing pretty useful products in the trash, after their muscles have been turned i… Continue

- Hi Christi! Thank you or your comments and you are so right. This is not the first time this has happened. As I said in my blog my boyfriend is wonderful, he is so talented and creative. I love him very much. Unfortunately it does make me sad that he is sort of a selfish person. You are also correct in saying I need to change my own feelings. I can not control what he says or does, the only person I can control is myself. Need to work on that!! Hope you have a nice day, and also I hope you are in good health!
