I did what I said and took the time to be still. Had some really great time on the mat and avoided coming down with a cold. Each day I gave in some way and I continue to be mindful of giving. I struggled with not posting each day and whether or not giving to myself meant I should start over, but have decided that I'm going to stick with this commitment.

After booking my daughter's birthday party at the Children's Museum, they gave me a stack of coupons which entitled a child to free admission with an accompany adult. I offered them up on facebook and had three people show interest. I finally got around to packaging them up yesterday and mailing them out. Hopefully the coupons will get the children to the museum for some good fun that they might not have had otherwise.

I made a nice contribution today to the Haiti relief effort via Wyclef Jean's non-profit organization, Yele. Of course this was a joint effort with the man who keeps the bank account nourished - my husband.

I hope it makes a difference.

I also took these two pooches for a walk this morning, but that's really an obligation at this point, one I do not look forward to. Walking two dogs in training is not a lot of fun.

A friend of mine turned 31 today. I called to wish her a happy birthday, but no answer. I had my daughters sing happy birthday with me and only wish I could see her smile when she checks her messages.

I also walked our new dogs a lot! They always appreciate it.
