It makes perfect sense Dawn. It is, in the end, not about what we do or enjoy, but why we do it and enjoy it. For you it is the time you spend with him, so be it a bike or a jeep, he's there with you and that's what really matters.

- Cristiana, grits are sort of a coarse cornmeal made of hominy that people eat here in the South US. we cook them like a cereal and serve them with butter and salt. usually they are eaten with eggs at breakfast time. after i wrote that i thought "you dummy, they might not have them in Costa Rica!"

I have to say I can feel your love for your sister's little children .... and I can totally relate. I have no children on my own and have been so devoted to some little cousins over the years. It's been hard recently as I haven't been able to see them nearly as often as I used to.

Another week
Basically, this week has gone by with me helping my sister with the kids, celebrating my dear friend's b-day and getting her a beautiful gift, taking a brazilian cousin out and recommending him places to go, going to yoga, tending to the house and doing bank errands for my father. Just routine, but I have had fun. :)

One whole week...
A week has gone by and here i am now, trying to remember everything I did, jejeje

Three days in a row
I'm behind again! Three days have gone by and I haven't posted anything here. There is no excuse, only the fact that I've been doing lots of things.
On Thursday, I helped my sister with my niece and nephew. It is a mystery why, as soon as she arrives at home, she get so sleepy that she falls on a couch or bed and goes to sleep like a baby. I guess she's tired. Anyway, I worked a little and was planning on enjoying my niece and going to yoga class at 7:30 p.m., until I got a call from a client s… Continue

I offer you food...
Today was a nice day. I slept at my sister's since we had to go to my cousin's today and I spent the whole day with my niece, caring and playing with her. How great! We had lunch at a restaurant with my cousin (whom I complimented on her hair because she just cut it and it looks gorgeous) and again, I took the leftovers to give to someone hungry. The habit of giving
Today is the first day of my second round, to call it something. My wish is to make giving a habit, part of my daily life and expectations. Good give Loudara. Enjoy her while she is here!! My mom has been gone 13 years and I miss her every day. Great give for your mother to her grandson!! Quite a feat at that age.
My mom is almost 90 and partially blind, but she is queen of her kitchen. Her only grandchild turns 18 tomorrow, and she is making chicken and dumplings for him. So I accompanied her to the grocery and assisted her as she shopped. I have a headach...
