- Why I'm choosing to give:
- To join the movement! To augment the wave! To do something good in the world, in some fashion. To give without expectation of something in return, but to know I am capable of contributing something to someone.
It starts at home.
We have stopped teaching kindness beginning at home, in our communities. The world has gotten to a speed where being nice doesn't mean anything - but I so disagree.
I was raised to be polite (which isn't always "nice"). I am raising my one-and-only daughter/child to be sincere and NICE, and gracious and mindful of others, and of her value as a human being just as she is.
So, joining 29 Gifts, officially, is another commitment I am making to be a good example to my child :D
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Whatever is perfect for me when I need it! We can't really control what we receive (can we?) but we can try and live in a state of gratitude and openness. So, whatever good is meant to come to me - I'm happy to receive it!

- I'm a costumer's assistant by day and a generally-creative person all the time. Single mom; Eucharistic minister in our Episcopal church; choir member; Halloween lover; reader; dreamer; person who takes great pleasure in making others laugh!
