- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Because I have been given so much my whole life and see so many people without. The older I get the more I realize the minimal amount of things I need to be happy and successful. Hopefully my kids will see the results of giving and start there own challenge!
- What I'd most like to receive:
- Personally Nothing! A simple smile will be more than enough! Wait that's not true, I would like to see others inspired to also give!
- About me:
- I am 44 years old and own my own Mineral Makeup Business called Mineral Silk. My husband is also part owner of the company and has recently just lost his "everyday job". The company he was working for is closing their doors just like many others across the US. We are now relying on our Makeup business to finacially sustain our family and are putting in long hours to make it a reality!

I was checking in on my 29Gifts 'friends' and didn't see any posts from you for a while. Hope you've been well.
I just looked at your company website; as someone who is committed to living as sustainably as possible, I appreciate that you've signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics. I am one of those no-makeup women, but I've been thinking of getting at least something to cover up my shine. Can you see the shine on my forehead in my 29gifts photo? I'm going to look into ordering one of your samplers.
