- I am just about to turn 59- I am retired. I have been married for 40 years. My husband and I live at the beach and I love lighthouses. I have two sons and two beautiful grandchildren.
I do some volunteer work but would like to do more and giving the 29 gifts seems like the right road to be on.

Children's Story

I was just wondering about Gifts for the month of May and as I was just sitting- the phone rang. A man from our church is doing the service on May 13th and asked me to do the children's story for him. Guess what I am going to talk about?
I will have calenders for the children and everyone else in church. Hope to get a few new members interested in this challenge. I will let you know who things work out. Happy May Giving! Debbie

Just getting started with my 29 days of giving and I am really excited about it. I haven't even finished the book yet
but was so inspired that I had to get started. Day 1- Encouraged three other ladies to visit a lady from our
community that is now in a Manor and is confined to a wheelchair. She loves music so we attended a church service with her and sang some old hymns. This was my gift- a gift of companionship. In return she had a smile and a tear
