My 1st Round in Review
First of all, thanks to all of you who helped make my "big give" a success by becoming receivers! Your photographs should arrive within a few weeks. I am hoping the printing is finished before I leave on vacation, but if not I'll send them out as soon as I get home.
Even though my 29 days are over, the mindset of the giving challenge remains with me. I try and search out ways to give in everyday life. Whether it's holding a door for someone at a store, or giving someone a compliment.

Day 29!!
Day 29 - I can't believe it's been 29 days already!
I really wanted to make the 29th day special, so I tried to stay in a mindset of "giving-ness" all day long. That was hard, because I had a pretty awful workday which involved treacherous cliffs between a river and a huge stand of poison ivy. Not to mention the mosquitoes...
However - I tried to be giving to every single person I encountered. I gave a co-worker her keys when I noticed she had left them in the door, I let traffic in front of m… Continue

Day 28
Day 28 - After getting my allergy shots, I'm supposed to wait 20 minutes before leaving. The waiting room at my allergist's is woefully short on good magazines, so if I forget a book it can be a rather boring 20 minutes. Today I brought down one of my Domino magazines and left it there. Granted, it's an older issue. And, I happened to slip a buisness postcard of mine into the pages. Does it still count as a "give"? I'm not entirely sure. It wasn't entirely selfless, after all.

The photo reminds me of a painting I did in memory of my brother. It is our yard full of Irises(that he planted) and a girl doing a cartwheel representing our happy and carefree childhood.
