following on my non materialistic gifts yesterday i was with my familiy at a contra dance and my gift was when a waltz started playing i danced with my dad. similarly, today my mom had wated to go on a walk all day and kept asking if anyone wanted to go with her and so finally at sunset i asked her if she wanted to go on walk with me and we both had a great time. i felt great to spend quality time with my family.

on the third and fourth days of the Challenge i didnt give any material items away. on the third day i got in a tiff with one of my friends and decided that my gift for the day would be to forgive her and move on like nothing had happened between us. on the forth day my gift was a prayer. at the end of my jazz class we offer up all of our amazing energy and i gave mine to a littel local boy in the ICU and to the friends and families of two men from my town that had died earlier in the week.…

On the second day of the challenge I was walking over to my neighbors house to get a ride into town and eating a warm, fresh chocolate chip cookie. when i oped the door she, "oooh that looks good." and so even though it was delicious and i wanted to finish it  I gave the rest to her and she loved it!

I started the challenge on the second of April and have not gotten a chance to write about it yet. On the first day i was on a walk outside when I came across a little yellow buttercup peeking out from the brown grass. It was the first flower i had seen all year. it made me smile and so i picked and took it inside mineature vase filled wiht water. I then placed it on my moms desk so she could enjoy its simple beauty.
