Day 4+5 round 2---refocussed!

Lost a little of my joy because I lost my focus after round 1. I really need to think-- what will I give today to be truly happy. It is my bit of real consciousness that seems to spread and multiply. It puts me in the moment and it has such power. So I refocussed. I went to see friends yesterday and today and brought cakes for one and flowers for another (she wasn't in---I'd say the flowers were anonymous, but I think she'll guess!) and already I am beginning to feel so much better.

29 gives in one day---remarkably easy ! Last day round one--fanfare please!

I had the idea to give 29 things on my last day. So I plastered a smile on my face and knocked out at least ten gives before I got to the coffee shop.!! (including cheery Goodmornings!) Everyone wanted to talk to me today (coffee shop nodding acquaintances) so I hope I can count my comments, though I didn't always get there first. Another 8. I bought a bun for my satin connection--- a lady who makes wedding dresses and doesn't mind me nipping in to pick up armhole bits etc. for my art projects--… Continue

Day 28 --The Universe Provides

Today I gave away 12 little tiny pill boxes. Why? don't ask ! Its too complicated, but they are just the thing to hold something that a group I belong to needs, so everyone was very happy! A lot of the things I have given have been provided by the Universe at little cost--isn't it great? I then went and gave a lovely wrap to a friend that vertically challenged people like me (5' 3" ) can't get away with. She, too was very happy. Oooooow! I forgot the textile recycling also!

Day 27--- Woman found anonymous gift delights crowd!

I was driving in o town thinking about the little bit of consciousness that it takes to commit to giving some thing every day---how that moment of being present affects you! Then I realised I hadn't thought about my give today at all!! But I found a little parcel I had made upa few days ago sitting in the car laughing at me, so in great good humour I took it and deposited in yet another ladies loo. To cut a long story short, an elderly lady with a stick stopped to tell her friends at a neighbour… Continue

Hey Gerry,

There appear to be two ways to spell the name of the African drum I am learning to play; djembe and jembe. There may be others, but those are the two I know of :)

Hey Gerry,
I didn't know there were six books on housekeeping! And you have them all? And yet you call yourself dommestically challenged lol.
Getting rid of unhygenic I get, but I don't get spotless. Neat and tidy sure, but heck you have to live :)
