- Why I'm choosing to give:
- Giving is a expression of the love I have for my fellowman, it free me from focusing to much on the negative in world and it bring me up close and personal with the good in the world. Giving keeps my gratitude on the forefront and reminds me that that I am not all that unique and nor am I the only person struggling with a chronic illness.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- More compassion, patience, empathy, serenity, that feeling deep in your soul that tells you your in a good place and your doing god's will which to me is treating my neighbor with loving kindness and praying for my enemy. And I will admit I am not a follower of organized religious but i feel god in my heart and the proof that he exist is all around us. The mere fact that auto immune disease are unknown tells me that the human body is that complex that even science doesn't understand it completely so their must be a higher power that engineer the intelligent body that we live in.

- About me:
- I am a nurse who took an early retirement due to lupus and chronic pelvic pain. I dedicate a large amount of my time to working with other woman who have chronic pelvic pain. I love cotton, fleece, flip flops, and taking care of my body and mind on a daily basis. I write, crochet, sew, and spend time with Tom, my life partner. I have two young adult children, my son is a plumber and my daughter is a student of Mass Art institute.

Prays for my daughter

Dear Friends,
My 24 yr old daughter has been diagnosed Infiltrated Ductal Carcinoma/Breast Cancer, Stage 4 that has spread to bone, liver, spleen and spine. Please pray for my daughter!
A Sister in Need of Support

My dear friend Trieste is dealing with Vaginal Cancer a.k.a squamous cell carcinoma , she is on her second round of chemotherapy and could really use our support, empathy and prays.
I am asking people to send her cards, small tokens, and letters. If you have a story share your experience, strength and hope.
