I spent most of the day hanging out with friends on our day off of school. My mom called me from work, and she was clearly frustrated by the day she was having. She was really busy & mad and taking it out on me. I let her yell at me and get it out of her system without getting upset, myself. When she got home, she apologized to me. Thursday was the last day of school for me for the week. We have a 4-day weekend :) It was a give for myself. I was supposed to go to a friend's house, and I was running late and hadn't eaten dinner yet. I decided to take some time for myself and have a nice dinner and take a shower before I went. I felt a lot better when I got there and had a great time. Thursday I gave with peace.

I'm having a hard time keeping up with my giving blog. I get really busy and then I forget to keep track of what I'm giving and when I give it. This day was an especially terrible one for homework. I went to Panera with some friends to do homework together. Throughout the day, I had been helping classmates with schoolwork more so than usual. It was a pretty good day. When I got to school this morning, I decided that I would smile at and say hi to every custodian, lunch lady, and administrator that I saw. For the most part, I was very successful. I could see that they were happy to be noticed by one of so many apathetic teenagers. This made me pretty happy through much of the day.
