Doing Dishes (Day 22 Round 3)

Thanksgiving is usually a tradition for my 2 brothers and our families to go to mom and dad's house. This year, one of my brothers wanted to be the host. It was great! We had fun, eating, laughing, and playing board and computer games together. When it was time to go home, I just went in the kitchen to wash and dry the dishes and put them away. Heart Doctor Day (Day 21 Round 3)

My middle daughter has a slight heart murmur. It was heard when she was 14 yrs old. We went to the pediatric cardiologist in a city an hour from our house for a check up and tests then. All was well, just something to keep tabs on, he wanted to see her in 3 years. OMgoodness! the 3 years flew by of course and it was time to see "the heart doctor" as we call him again. At the Grocery Store (Day 20 Round 3)

When I remember, I take cloth bags to the grocery store. Sometimes I forget the bags at home before venturing out, so then I buy more cloth bags. So, I have an abundance! One store sells not just a tote bag, but a SUPER SIZED tote, really, you could fit the kitchen sink in there. They are my favorite.

Being a Mom (Day 19 Round 3)

I was thinking about all I do "Being a Mom", is it just part of the responsibilities and blessings of "Being a Mom" or is a lot that I do really gifts too, to my children? How do you distinguish the difference between a gift and a normal responsibility? I don't know, maybe it doesn't really matter, just that what I do for my children is done with love and compassion and AWARENESS, which is what I have learned most from 29 gifts.

Being Friendly (Day 18 Round 3)

I work on the first floor of a building. The building is not a high rise or anything, just three floors but fairly spread out in area. I realized sometimes we all just get stuck in our own work areas, people on the first floor really only talk to other coworkers on the first floor and the same for the other floors. Thank you. It has been a wonderful week-end. my son and his wife have been here for the holiday and still here for my birthday. It has been great. Moving right along in my 29 day gift giving. Everyday the opportunity arises and I know "just the perfect thing" to give. There have been days that I give tangible things and days that I gift others things, like my time, a phone call, ie releasing my granddaughter from any responsibility to make me happy etc. So happy gifting to you. How is this journey for you?
