- Why I'm choosing to give:
- The day before Christmas Eve my husband was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma Unknown Primary Stage IV Cancer. Since then my life, the life of my teenage children and my husbands life have been turned upside down. With my strong faith in God and an unbelievable support system, I feel completely blessed. People have bent over backwards to help support our family and I feel it is my duty to give back to others.
- What I'd most like to receive:
- I want to anonymously give to others. Some of the times when I secretly give I would like to be there to see the smile on a complete strangers face. Especially when they realize that for no reason at all someone cared enough to want to make their day, if even in a small way.

- About me:
- Through lots of prayer, I decided to give to others annonymously. Then I decided I couldn't do it alone, so I asked 7 family and friends to help me on my journey. Today marks a significant day in my journey. Not because of giving, but because of what I’m hoping to receive… a good Dr’s Report this afternoon that my husband is Cancer Free! After 6 months of treatments and waiting for healing I’m hoping all the positive energy I try to put out in the universe will come back to my family. - Today is Day 1 -
Not sure what to expect out of this whole experience, but I'm hoping it will be more therapeutic than anything! I live a crazy busy, stress filled life, so I'm hoping by taking a moment to slow down and reflect on each of the 29 days, it might remind me what I'm doing it all for...that is life in general.
