Day 1. Again.

My first Blog but I am starting over. On accident really. After reading 29 gifts I began the 29 day giving. However, I recently had a birthday. Quite selfish, but I forgot to GIVE...i was embarrassingly too into receiving! For today I gave a friend of mine who bakes, full price for something she charged me less for (being her friend). Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:: To determine if altruism exists. To Give Back. I feel as if i have been very blessed this year despite giving up all hope in life a year ago.

What I'd most like to receive:: No guilt receiving. When i receive i tend to feel guilty. Giving makes me more receptive to receiving. It helps me be able to ask/receive help.

How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?: Mother gave me book, "29 gifts"

About me:: I am a single mom of 2. I am a teacher. A year ago I admitted a truth/realized something that changed my life. I thought my life was over. Since then I have been in therapy and took a year off to be w/ my children. I am not the same person I was a year ago. I have received many blessings this year while I learned to ask for HELP. I want to give back.
