Today my husband and I went out to lunch at Chili's. Usually we try to avoid it because we usually get bad service. Today was unusual. Everybody there was working as a team, helping each other out when needed, etc. I pulled the manager aside and told her that I noticed the great teamwork of her employees. I think managers at restaurants need to hear the good things too!

I visited an elderly friend tonight for three hours. I visit her every week and I let her tell me the same stories over and over.

Tonight I lent a pencil to a guy in my music appreciation class that I DO NOT like. He rubs me the wrong way. Very pompous and thinks he knows everything. It was really hard to lend him the pencil, but it was my way of trying to like him....

After quite a long hiatus, I am back. I quit because I got vertigo which made it almost impossible to get on the computer. Eight weeks later I still have vertigo. I thought I would be better by now. I have spent the past eight weeks having one BIG pity party for myself. I have to get out of myself and give of myself in the limited way that I can.
