Why I'm choosing to give:: I love to make others happy and am a giver, but I want to give mindfully.

What I'd most like to receive:: The joy of making a difference in people's lives.

How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?: I heard an interview on NPR.

About me:: I am a divorced mother of two wonderful teenage boys. I work as a Teacher's Aide and as a writer. I grew up in the Midwest where people take care of one another and I love the sense of community that is a part of my history. I have tried to make my own community wherever I live.
