making another person more at ease is a great give. sometimes, too, people we don't think we will like surprise us. i initially went out with my husband because he was the polar opposite of what i thought "my type" was and we've been happily married…

Sounds very sweet of you to me. Maybe he was shy and unsure of himself in larger groups. It was nice of you to be a friendly face in the crowd.

doesn't sound silly at all to me ... sounds very nice of you

Third Day

I went out with a friend last night to a few events...a party and a show her friend was in. I offered to drive since she needs glasses right now...but that wasn't the gift...what I feel best about is that she is having an issue with her boyfriend and I helped her to see the issue in a different way. Usually we kindof do a "man-bashing" thing... not horribly so but I'm on her side so I understand how she feels. But I've been doing this gift site and reading "Silent Power" which says it is all abo… Continue

Second Day

On the second day I went to see a friend's band play and I went by myself. I know this part may sound silly...but a guy asked to sit with me and I usually may have been colder that I was because I wasn't really interested. But I was very kind and I smiled and was friendly.

First Week

On my first day I gave the gift of teaching...I worked with my friend on her poetry and she is so talented...I think maybe she just needs a little encouragement. She was so grateful to have someone support her work. It was wonderful to be able to give of myself in that way and see my friend blossom!
