Profile Information

Why I'm choosing to give:
I was inspired to join after reading an article in the paper. I've always believed that the more we give the less we are consumed by our own worries.
What I'd most like to receive:
I hope to receive a better sense of self accomplishment. I also hope to inspire the people in my life to begin their own 29-day challenge.
How did you hear about the 29-Day Giving Challenge?
sfgate.com
About me:
I try to live each day with love. I hope that everyone in my life feels loved and appreciated every day. I have three beautiful children and an amazing husband.
Website:

Do you agree to read and follow the 29Gifts Code of Conduct once you join our site?
yes
The website is the link for my darling 2 year old nephew's Walk Now for Autism team. He was diagnosed over the summer as moderately/severe autistic. My sister's attitude and patience are inspiring. She has wasted no time in learning as much as she possibly can to make his life as full and rich as it can be. If you have the means, please consider donating to the cause.

A place to park

Several days ago I decided that our garage layout was disfunctional. In a burst of energy, I haphazardly started moving boxes and shelves. After about 30 minutes of intense, frenzied rearranging, I decided that maybe I was in over my head. This was going to be a two person job. Who better to help than my already overworked husband?
Since I had completely run out steam, I shoved everything back into the garage, but unfortunately there wasn't enough room left for my husband's car. I warned him ove… Continue

Planned the first art project for Isabel's class. No one had planned anything yet. I volunteered to organize the first project in time for the local Art Festival. There's space to display the children's art work, but it has to be turned in by next Thursday. I knew it would mean a lot to the kids to see their artwork in public.

A note on gifts recieved...Friday an email from my sister. My nephew is making tremendous progress. So happy I cried. = )

Today an email from my father. My step-mother i… Continue

Friday-My regular volunteer day in the class. The teacher asked if I could stay later. She told me that Fridays are a bright spot in her week. I'm a sucker for a compliment.

email to family in Texas to let them know they are in my thoughts.

Saturday- Dinner with friends. Went to farmer's market to pick up fresh strawberries and a bouquet to add to the standard bottle of wine gift.

Sunday-Bike riding when I'd rather stay home recovering from dinner with friends ;)
